I creates a slip effect when the blade is dry, and its gonna be dry,
dilute abit, and dispence out of a trigger type bottle,
wd40 would be expensive but would do it
snap off stanleys are about 6inch long, a new blade will soon go blunt,
I wasn`t saying the raw plug thingy was holding it
just making you aware of what you cannot see , when you hit something hard
craft knife type thing, that's a Stanley only longer,
