well-i checked the actuator preload[collins blue one] and the wastegate penny arm is about 20mm or more from the actual actuator arm hole...
i"ve set it at just tighter than half hole pull over so will get it out tommorow for a wee test,whilst looking over it i noticed that the pipes to amal velve dont have any restrictor pills in them,not that they would be needed with the actuator wound that tight-is this still the method used for adjusting boost on amal controlled cosworths?
i"ve worked on turbo cars scince about 1985 and never seen an actuator wound so tight
