Morning Ian. Thanks ever so much for your incredibly swift response. A sight quicker than mine eh

The main reason for my interest is that I have known the old girl since 1992 and am rather fond of her.

Rob bought the car brand new, as a birthday present to himself for his 23rd birthday, from Bristol Street Motors in Bromley, in Kent/SE London in October of 1989 when they were knocking them out for £12,999.00 including a year's free fully comp insurance.

Rob was a good friend of mine and I helped him with the car in various capacities and on many occasions over a period of years.
I watched it evolve from a pleasant, nippy little car with as little as 135ish hp through various guises and stages (engine, brake, tyre/wheel, suspension and ancillary wise) via various tuners, engineers and specialists, into a fair old beast and when it reached the heady heights of it's big power fame around 1997/98.

I bought the car from Rob, shortly after it's last transformation & improvements under his ownership and am the second owner of the car.

I have owned her for fourteen years now and have always kept her garaged.
The car has never in this period of time, blown up, lost any parts, or seen the inside of a breakers yard.

It still starts on the button. It still goes like the clappers. It still smells like a new car inside and still puts a smile on my face.

She is presently sat sulking in my garage, awaiting a wash, a brake fluid change and a fresh set of gear box bearings (just for a change, lol).

So, as i'm sure you can understand, I was pretty interested and not a little confused regarding your previous post.

So any further light you could shed on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers and all the best, Jim.
