exactly what has been said before mate you would need to make the insurance company aware of this , if its husband and wife its usually fine. but you cant technically insure something you dont own .....that said the log book doesnt prove ownership lol . say for example you were 18 and you bought the car but put the car in your mums name to insure because she gets the better rate and add you as a named driver thats fronting . alot of insurers would turn it away some companies wont care and do it anyway but as long as you cover yourself you will be fine
