my recently bought 2wd 3 dr is a stage 3-running level 8 ecu-greens and what loooks like a blue collins actuator-it would seem to be a collins chip looking back at the history of the car[it has a lambda sensor fitted too]
the motor is a low comp 200 series engine
it runs a lot of boost-shoots off the scale at 30psi[the max the gauge reads]
cant hear it det/pink-it runs through an amal valve not a boost controller
its got an rs500 type i/c too

now i built a 2wd sapph st3 almost 2 decades ago collins chip/greens/3 bar/green top motor it ran about 25psi...

so i suppose the question is -too much boost psi on current car?
