The RSOC valued my Sapphire at 35k but the insurance company would not move above 30k. The insurance company will have the last say whatever a Club/Garage has to say its there risk. Forget what you have spent
it means nothing.
The guy needs to get an agreed value on it or if its stolen/written off he will get offered peanuts for it.I have had an agreed value on my car for the last 18 years and have Never had the Insurance Company tell me what they will insure it for.If he has a good report and plenty of photos I am sure he will find someone who will agree to insure it for a fair price.
