My wife has a 2007 Focus CC-2 2.0 tdci 130ps & it's got a boost problem.

Now I know what these engines are like & that this is a common problem.

It has only covered 31k with full history & runs perfect as you'd expect but it's developed a boost problem.

It had a new DMF fitted this week & it now seems to holding back, running fine but hardly no boost at all.

Plugged it in & got fault code P2263 which indicates turbo boost pressure so googled it & came up with various different causes.

Thing that keeps popping up is the electronic actuator but reading what came people are saying they had to replace the complete turbo!?

I'm taking it back to my mate who fitted the DMF on Monday so he can have a look but hoping someone on here has had some first hand experience with this?

Also I have tried giving it a good blast & it solved nowt!!

Any ideas ?
