i used rubber rocker gasket as the cork one weeped, i just tightened it still my fingers bleed almost then retighten it after a few more days. Its really tight. been on months now with no problems what so ever.

as for the sump just tighten till it almost squeezes out the side then slightly loosen so it goes back in. doesn't leak, been on 17 months now dry as a dink dong
