Who or what holds the 229 mph record?

What speed have you got at Brunters Rod? Wasn't it 206? Not surprised they didn't want any 4 cylinder cars ruining their fun
211mph is incredibly fast one of only 6 cars past 210mph at a Vmax event ever. The record is by a GTR with circa 1250bhp you wont beat that with less. My car ran at Woodbridge which is shorter but IMO safer. Our best is 210 mph with circa 840bhp. If we ever run the car with its new engine we can certainly beat that 210mph but 229 thats on a totally different planet & then some & then a bit more.
When you call the Koenigsegg slow remember a Macca f1 just reached 200mph there & the Aventadour can just scrap it.

The progress at Vmax is amazin the Guy Ratcliffe Porsche was the first to crack 200mph back in November 2005 now 50+ runs have been achieved.
It may be uncool in the RS scene to try Topspeed runs but this event proves that lots are trying. I still hope to run at a Vmax close to my 70 birthday in 2015.
