i dont know if i agree with you, some of them are awesome but the build quality can be shocking! my stepdad used to have a 2003 corvette, pukka Z06, hard top, manual. i used to get it to run about in when i went over there and it was awesome to drive, but the build quality and trim was piss poor for what it was. hes got a 2012 caddilac CTS-V now. estate with an auto box. and THAT is an amazing car. easy kick the arse of an M5 or E55 merc performance wise, and the trim and build quality is fantastic.

theyve also got a 2013 camaro SS soft top, auto. its alright, doesnt feel that quick (when compared to the caddy to be fair) and the build is alright. but its nowt to write home about.

driven all sorts out there, my brothers old 2008 charger v6 for instance, medeocre. their 2006 chevy tahoe is cack, theyve got a 2005 ish silverado SS pickup. thats cool as fuck but cack build quality too.

just my 2 cents

compare any run of the mill performance car to the german or even japanese equivelent and they seem shocking when you get past the noise of the engine and appearance!
