Afternoon all,

As per title my Fiesta has developed a whirring noise that comes in around 2krpm. It is really starting to irritate despite sounding like a baby eaton charger. I have heard it could be alternator bearings or the auxiliary belt tensioner but would like to know if anyone has had a similar issue and fixed it.

I used the search function and found another relevant thread but it has no definitive answers or results. I PM'd the OP but he hasn't posted in almost a year so that probably won't lead to anything.
