Hi guys,

I've had do a fair bit of rewiring to my '83 '4i following a break in.... The wiring was hacked to bits and the police took away the debris for evidence which has caused a head ache or two!

The Haynes manual shows an earth point on the wiper/headlight stalk body, it looks to be a small wire with a ring terminal held on by the bottom retaining screw. There's no sign of this on mine, should there be? If so where does it come from? I'm having what I think is an earthing issue with my headlights and this looks a probable cause.
