the rules over open fires (bbqs) at silverstone have always been there but lose count of the amount of people actually using one so up to each person to adhere to it or ignore it, club ins cover for liability over gazebos/flags etc is insisted on because if a incident takes place involving yours you will be held liable as ford fair do not offer any club any cover, but again who actually takes out this cover is up to each club organiser, last year I had 10 million pounds PLC and never claimed a penny

I wouldnt want to get you in trouble if my coleman event shelter thingy exploded in a ball of flame and wiped out most of southern england. (yeah 1 in 10 billion chance and all that!

I dont use a BBQ just a camping stove to do sausage egg and bacon etc.
