Hi and thanks. Managed a look in my door. And the cable had snapped. Removed the whole mechanism and ordered the cable repair kit. Managed to find a bit of wood to hold up the glass for the time being. Must say the membrane is a pain to remove on one peice. Hope the bits come tomorrow and more importantly it's not a hard job to install. Thanks for your input fellas. Cheers.
