It does help how the car is driven,

Plenty of TLC can reduce the likelihood of the liners splitting. E.G let the car warm up before spirited driving. and letting the car cool down before ignition off also driving the cor off boost for the last couple of miles of your journey seems to help from what I have read.

Another thing is oil diaphragms and boost solenoids.
