I don't know anyone on the Gtiroc forum that has gone through 4 in a year. One guy on potentially big power has just gone through 2 quaiffes in a month.

I think there is one person that has gone through about 4 gearboxes while he's had the car. I've had mine for 3 years now and not had a problem. I don't have big power but can get 1.8 60fts easily, with 5000rpm (ish) launches and letting the clutch up fast but not dumped or side stepped.
I won't deny they can be weak, but they're not as weak as everyone who hasn't owned one claims.
What will kill them quickly is paddle clutches (ceramics?) and dumping the clutch at high revs.
