Sure this has been discussed before.

Ive got a 2.0 blacktop out of a Mondeo with no alternator just the bracket on the back side of the engine.

Looking for an alternator for it. Are the silver top ones different?

Had a good look on ebay i need one that fastens with 2 bolts horizontally. Silver top ones also fit the same but they may be on the front of the engine?
