Happened to my mate, He got the cheque and banked it and sure enough it cleared, he went to draw the £££ out of his account to pay the shipping Co, 4 days after the cheque had cleared and luckily the bank told him the cheque was stolen, despite it showing as cleared !!!! Police were well aware of the scam.!
