Yeah sports as std, iirc decat on these causes a loss in bhp and gain in torque or the otherway round lol, decat prices have gone up thay used to be £60 when I had a focus lol.
Yeah I was happy,
I let them keep the standard manifold for the scrap man (got me a cheaper fitting cost) I had a toyo sport manifold on my saxo with no problems so hopefully have the same results here,
would never go full decat, my luck would be a vosa truck parked on the way to work.. so Sports cat would of been what I was looking for, but seeing as it has one saves me even looking

Common failure points on these that tie in with the lack of power is the inlet manifold runner control failing, it can either fail open or shut. Other symptoms will be very excessive fuel consumption. The standard control cam is plastic too that pulls the cable it snaps, there are replacement billet ones available.
Gearing is very tall on these too, you have to keep them at the top of the rev range to keep them on the boil. Off the line it won't set any records. Through the box 3rd to 5th is where they're at their best.
When I purchased my Focus, he mentioned the manifold Control thing, and showed me receipts for I think about £220, and he was saying it never had any dash lights on, so I would say its worth getting a code reader on a car if you think its loosing power. lot of money to spend if that's not the issue though
