Would love some help, fitted a new fuel pump and sender unit a week or so ago as the old one finally gave up after months of various problems, including showing a quarter full and running out, anyway changed it and all good running great, filled the car and got to a quarter of a tank and the bloody thing ran out of fuel again ( know it had ran out as it took just short of 55 litres to fill it ) so assumed it must be a faulty gauge on the dash, changed the dash for a new ( secondhand ) one when the old one was showing 3/4 full expecting it to show 1/2 a tank and it showed exactly the same as the old one so now I don't have a clue what he problem could be,
Does the wiring ever give this problem as I'm sure I have ruled out the sender and gauge.
Really would like some advise as this is ow doing my head in!!!!!!
