Default Braided Fuel Hose Help.

This is sorted now, see another question below

Hello, so I'm going to be fitting a surge tank and replacing all of my fuel lines with braided lines, the only problem I'm having is the surge tank has an8 fittings, this will mean the inside diameter of the pipe is around 10mm, the OD will be around 16-18mm ish.

How do people go about connecting them to the standard fuel rail? Will be going onto a st170 fuel rail and uses push on fitment at the minute but 10mm ID pipe is going to be far to big, if I was to get AN fittings to convert the size of the pipe when I gets to the fuel rail and use a smaller pipe, would pushing the pipe onto the original fittings be substantial enough or is there other AN fittings I can get?

I might not have made a whole lot of sense so if your unsure please ask, I really want to order my fuel hose ASAP and don't want to order the wrong one.

For e.g. Could I run the bigger line off the surge tank, then when it's run under the boot, use an an8-an4 male connector with an8 and an4 female fittings to change from the bigger pipe to the smaller one, then run the smaller pipe down the original fuel line route to the fuel rail and...IM STUCK!
