Car's History: Peters car will be the one used by Rally Extreme boss Grant Shand to 3rd overall in the 2008 Silver Fern. It is a 2 litre BDA. Rego "CLM 184T" was driven by some of the best names in Escorts in the 1970's and 80's - notably World Rally Champion Hannu Mikkola and British Champion Malcolm Wilson (now boss at BP Ford WRC). Other previous drivers include the late Argentine legend Jorge Recalde and Austrian Champion Jochi Kleint. It has also been rallied in two of the most iconic rally colour schemes. Mikkola used the car in the famous Eatons Yale blue and Wilson in the legendry Rothmans colours.
