1990 ERST, engine rebuilt due to knackered cam and shot big ends, new ford dizzy and ford coil pack, and now new ford fuel pump and pink relay.
Car starts and idles but as soon as any throttle is applied car cuts out, had a diagnostic machine on it and the code 148 for the relay has cleared but now it just says fault with no code.
If it makes any difference car has dump valve and this would not go ptsh for a couple of mile when started from cold, in between probs it has been running and dump valve was going ptsh within hundred yards ???
