I am kind of surprised there are not more people doing the skyline gearbox change , is there a lot of work involved ? as its a shed load less money .

as for people not just getting a 2wd , take into mind if they have bought big brakes , coil overs and so on its not so straight forward , but it can be done keeping all these ... If mines kills gearboxes I thought of going 2wd but my reason is I don't know if I could put up with a whining gearbox on long distances , sadly I do a fair few motorway miles so don't fancy it myself
guessing the skyline box is not noisy ?
