Dropped off a pile of bits at the powder coaters this morning, currently a 2 week turn around so gives me some time to order a new steering rack at least.
Then started tidying up the engine bay a bit ready for chris to work his magic with the paint and mop

removed the rustiest bit of the car, need to find a nice clean one of these? Its the metal part that the bonnet seal fits on.
Was a bit past its best....
then got the hoover out while jem was in bed and hoovered the swarf and mud out of the engine bay
Gave the paintwork a good rub down with planel wipe and then had a look to see how much clearince the slave cylinder has in the tunnel. Might just give it a tickle with the hammer to be sure
