Hi I have had my 2006 diesel mondeo's DMF wheel & clutch replaced 8weeks ago. Since then I have had trouble selecting 1st gear. Now 50% of the time I cannot select 1st gear. I have been told the gear selector cable needs replacing. Is this due to the work that was previously carried out?
