I have a special build engine that I needed to potentially have the head gasket made for.
I contacted Mike Tanski at Ferriday and we chatted over email for a few weeks, exchanged a couple of calls.
I then sent him some samples of sizes, materials I had considered, Mike made me some recommendations without any pressure to buy anything.
After a few more mails, and calls, Mike decided that what I already had was potentially up for the job, ok it would be a bit of R+D to test but he did not feel anything he could sell me was any better.
At that, I took his advice, asked him what I owed him for his time/consultation/calls/mail etc plus the postage of my parcel back to me, and he would accept nothing from me whatsoever, not a penny even for the return postage.
Now, for me, that is customer service over and above what is expected.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mike at Ferriday for any gasket/compression issues/solutions.
Thanks
Mark
I have never heard a bad word about them - so if I decide to use a decomp plate on the zetec Turbo I will make sure I give them a call first!
