Default T34 water cooling pipes

I am looking a ditching the metal pipe in favour of braided pipe crimped to a banjo.

The problem is that i will have to run this where the metal pipe was routed and it as close between the manifold and turbo.
The pipe i have in mind is a braided fuel pipe so i can jubilee it onto the thrmostat housing ( ie less joins)

this pipe has a max temp rating of 120 deg C......

Whats your thoughts on running this pipe close to the manifold and turbo inlet side.

Regards
Tim
