The genuine Duratec engines (Mk3 Mondeo, MK2 Focus, Fiesta ST) are Mazda engines and the bolt patterns for the gearboxes are COMPLETELY different. Yes Ford (in their infinite wisdom) refer to the gearboxes as IB5+ boxes but they have nothing in common with the earlier IB5 family boxes as fitted to Zetec engines.

No idea on the OP's question about clutches and flywheels but as people are using the gearboxes as a reference point just wanted to throw that in there. Damned Ford naming their stuff confusingly.
