Hi there everyone. I picked up our new focus on saturday just gone and yesterday thought I would have a better look under the bonnet at the coolant etc because when I came back from a 20 min drive the fan was running when I switched the engine off for about 30-40 seconds. I noticed the coolant was on minimum. I called the ford garage straight away and he come back to me from servicing and said that I could top it up. I thought all of this should have been done on the pdi check ? .I have been getting a burning smell too but it smells like a new burning smell , is it the engine running in or the exhaust smelling because its brand new ? Im hoping the fan situation is totally normal . Many thanks all
