I have a Caddy Mk3 for work, 1.9 PD engine, manual.

After a long run down the motorway the other day, the bite point seemed to be really really low - like within the first inch of travel. It's usually just past mid way on the pedal travel. No slip happening.

Thought perhaps slave cylinder, but then after half grinding gears going through a slow town bit of driving for half an hour, it seemed to improve. Started up again the next morning and was fine.

It's just done the same thing again today.

Any ideas?!
