I think its a very good way, most tuned cars that rev to around 8k should hit 100 mph in 3rd or very close. if a car cant make full traction at 60 mph on a hot day with warm tyres then the cars not set up right for use imo, my supra would full hook in 3rd from 60 mph on the r888s.

it doesn't have to be at brunters to measure power output, a 1/4 mile terminal tells the truth aswell but 60 - 100 is a lot easier to do.
