Done a bit more today, got the new crank pulley after i broke the old one, managed to get it sliding perfectly on and off the crank so should come off next time without a big hammer and a grinder


Removed the sump, checked the hinges on the baffles, all good there, Helicoiled the 4 threads across the front of the sump into the aluminium cover, as 2 had pulled last time i replaced the gasket not long after i originally put the engine in the blue shell.
Put the sump back on with a new cometic gasket and ford half moons.





Also fitted my new airtec fan kit. Was a bit annoyed about this as it appears the airtec fan kit doesn't fit with the airtec turbo cooler wasn't too impressed at having to grind chunks out of the new fan mounts.
