think it was about 10 years ago and a guy i knew (who's name i can't rememeber now) had a janspeed engined turbo'd xr4i which he rolled into a field

they came to recover it and took it to a salvage place about 60 miles away

he did claim but by the time he went to collect the salvage yard said he woed them £1200 for storage

he paid up because they knew what they had and they made it pretty obviosu to him that if he didn't pay up there and then they would simply have broken the car in front of his eyes and his payout would have been £0 because he was only 3rd party
