Thanks all, I was very lucky indeed. I saw the car parked over a year ago and left my name and number. Didn't think any more of it until a week ago when he text me saying he would sell it. The guys mother brought it new and when she unfortunately passed away he had it put into dry storage for 15 years and then put it back on the road about 3 years ago. He since used it to travel to the train station and local trips etc. As the chap did not have a garage, the car started to show signs of weathering, ie a few rust spots, 1 on the n/a sill where it meets the b post and 1 small patch on the inner wing. He has also damaged the front spots and slight dent on the bonnet. The rest of the car including the wheels, tyres, interior is like new with only 68k on the clock.
Anyway I thought he was going to ask bundles but when he said he would take £900 I knew I had to go and have a look

we agreed a deal at £800 and I brought the car as quick as I good.
