Not condoning their stupidity for one second, but that does seem like a harsh sentence for what is essentially just speeding.

I've never understood the basis on which judges come to give out these sentences, there seems to be no consistency or benchmark at all. We are constantly hearing about terrorists walking free as its against there human rights and kiddy fiddlers escaping jail etc.
