SDSR screwed me out of that one.
All I wanted to do was fly in the RAF or Navy.
So when I couldn't do that I had to decide whether I wanted to fly more than I wanted to be in the military. And flying won out. And it was definitely the right call.
Well done for keeping going though mate! I have a couple of friends in the civil aviation world, 100k later they are earning £12 an hour teaching PPL until they can get a proper job.
