I have never heard of that before, there should be an outlet off the compressor, I don't think the reference from the I/C, leave alone the plenum is a good idea, as the boost is not being controlled until is has actually reached this point.

Just checked my compressor housing doesn't have a the small outlet for the Amal valve, think that's why the old owner ran it of the old intercooler,
So just to check , what's my best option?
The other question is are after market boost controllers any good so you can manually adjust?
