My 2010 focus st 2 was fitted with a tow bar from my local tow bar fitter with no problems just needed longer neck to get past bumper. But remember the st is fitted with a racing clutch so only tow small things , not caravans or boats or it will damage your clutch, there is no danger towing with the st the same as any other focus and mine has just past an m o t there is no law saying you can't fit one it is just the manufacturer covering there arse on the clutch that the car was not homlogated to have one , the cost of fitting was £220 and I did a lot of homework beforehand , hope this will help anyone wanting an st tow bar fitted.do have some pics if you need to see.
