Hi, hope someone can help. I had a small shunt with my 53 reg Focus - Mk1 facelift and now I can't release the bonnet.

I viewed the very useful guides on this forum and am trying to use the screwdriver method as outlined in

Guide To Fixing Common Focus Bonnet Lock Problem.

My problem is that I have aircon and I think that my intercooler is covering the release collet from the front - is this right or am I just doing something wrong?

Is there another method I can use?
