So, since my last update I have managed to sort the front suspension out at least.

I really didn't want to go the expense of buying a complete new suspension set up to then have to sell something back on as the rear's are absolutely fine.

After a little hunt around I actually managed to find a guy in Milton Keynes who has seemingly broken a few fiestas.

Went up to pick up both front shocks complete with hubs and shafts. All for 60 squids, bargain.

As you can see, somebody must have got a bit carried away with the red paint.

Not overly bothered as I only want shocks and springs. The springs are spax as they are clearly marked however I am going to hazard a guess that the shocks are nothing more than standard one's that have been subjected to some yellow paint.

After a quick decision I thought I may aswell keep them yellow as that's how I got them, although they needed a fresh lick of paint so that is exactly what they got. Don't think they came out too bad.

All fitted and looking much better, and more importantly, going to drive much better too.

As for the smoking problem, I have ordered a new turbo cartridge to rebuild my own turbo. Will get it all cleaned up too so will be as good as new and should look quite smart fitted to my freshly painted manifold.
Updates to follow once it arrives.
