I see what your saying Steve but I did a track day with these brakes on my puma and they never faded once. Ive spoke to a few people who have also fitted these brakes to there pumas and they have also been spot on.
It was simply to be aware as its not all roses fitting 300mm, Ian G who lives and breathes pumas even has seen some issues which is why he runs 280s with 15s, its the same for all cars really running large brakes without the air clearance
