Like I said to the lad if it took 46 hours to repair the sill and arch and put a patch near the rear inner wing and remake a rear bumper hanger why has the car been sat there for 7 months. Or yeh I forgot now its cause I wasnt paying him weekly for the work lol
I don't doubt he has taken the piss, my comments were more aimed at the people who seem to think it takes a few hrs to fit a sill etc.
I do know how you feel though, about 6 years ago I dropped a grp4 mk2 shell off to have a load of work sorted and it painted, literally years went by with very slow progress, I then moved work and couldn't get over there very often and then quite simply kept being ignored for over a year and to to this day I've never seen my car back or any money.
If I learnt anything from that it's not to be so soft, trust no one even if they do sounds like they're being your mate, and finally always keep a written note of what's been paid as I know I screwed up there in the past.
