A few months ago I bought a focus tddi quite cheap as the head gasket was gone, and had a lack of power .I have replaced the cylinder head gasket on my tddi focus, everything seems fine except there is still a lack of power, this was the same before the head gasket was changed , everything was done ie head was skimmed and pressure tested, new head bolts, all torqued down to the correct settings. there is no smoke on startup but it starts straight away even in cold weather, there is no smoke when you put your foot right down it will rev high but it takes a while, turbo is spooling up fine, have changed the maf sensor in the air box, have checked and double checked all vacuum pipes, checked all wiring to all the sensors mentioned in previous posts, all seem fine and clean, car ticks over mint and does drive ok but lacks the power , I am looking at blanking off the egr valve and then checking the cat ,but beyond that I will be stuck , so any help would great
