Not sorted yet but noise traced (in a fashion)

Ive been to a few garages just to enquire into the noise. Some were rally specialists and some were just normal garages. The noise is believed to actually be the gearbox. Sounds like the big barring.

After a few weeks of purchasing the car i had it at a friend to check the gearbox oil. WHY? don't know really just popped into my head. lol. He topped it up and it took quite a bit. As soon as she was running there was a leak coming from the drive shaft seal. that was replaced and no leak now.

How long it had been like this i don't know. SOOOOOO the fact the gearbox didn't have enough oil in didn't help the situation.

At this moment in time I'm not paying for a full strip down and recon so when it does get unbearable ill just get a second hand one of the bay and get it fitted.
