Hi all

I'm looking in to purchasing a e46 3 series but have come a it stuck as to what one

I have around 3 - 3.5k to spend, what are the differences in mpg across the range, I hear that all the 6 pots have the same mpg which is a bit of a worry because I don't want small performance from a 320 ci with 330 running costs, the thought of a 3 litre 6 pot seems to be very expensive tho,

The car will only be used a few times in the evenings and weekends, I currently run a st170 and I understand that these are expensive to run for the performance received , how to the 6 pots compare in running costs and performance

Also how does the 318 compare to the above
