The problem lies with, when you realise that you want to go faster. It happens very quickly generally and your options will be pretty limited unfortunately. I'm sure you'll be able to have fun in it but I would think you'll soon get fed up with letting cars pass you. Perhaps look at other cheap cars as a base instead or go for a cheap RWD for more fun.
