Difference is im at the end of my Petrolhead days & its too late to change but im fully aware that my old girl is an outdated money pit but the older i get the more i realise i cant take my money with me so im cool with the spend.

If i was your age I would not be messing with old Fords .

If you budget is 20k as has been suggested you are probably best to just tinker with what you have maybe a rebuild with the latest Borg Turbo that will transform what you had & a smarten up of the old girl.
