Ok, I have removed the front panel & taken out the switch. The switch had melted! Ordered a new one, waiting for it to arrive and I have fixed up a temp switch to either be on 4 or off so that I can clear my windscreen in the cold weather. My query now is, this temp switch is getting very hot. I would have thought that changing the resistor would stop the switch heating up, but maybe not. Any ideas why the switch is getting so hot? Any how to fix it? I don't want to have to keep getting new switches each time it melts lol
