its an HP ,ts about 2 years old and its on windows 7.
ive undone the last system resore and removed a spotify and a event manager process from the task manager and that helped but when i shut down and started up the pc again the 2 processes had returned. how do i remove them completely so they dont return as the trouble seemed to coinside with these two programs appearing on my pc? the spotify window keeps popping up all the time but theres no sign of it when i click on all programs in the control panel?
Click on start. In the "search programs and files" bar, type "msconfig". You'll see it appear at the top of the start bar. Launch it.
On the system configuration box there will be a "startup". You can see what programs are starting at launch, then untick the ones you don't want on start up.
